Newport's Stabilife ® Standard Biomedical Bandpass Filters (SSBF) are offered at all of the wavelengths commonly utilized for absorption spectrometry based, clinical chemistry instrumentation. Since their introduction in the early 1990's, our Standard Biomedical filters have been providing superior optical performance and field life in clinical instrumentation, installed in widely varied environmental conditions, worldwide. Fabricated using our patented Stabilife coating technology, these filters provide the excellent spectral performance and physical durability that is characteristic of Stabilife products. SSBF filters provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio with a nominal 8nm bandwidth and are offered in industry standard 10mm diameter and 6mm square sizes. Custom shapes and sizes are available upon request.
